Welcome to the website for the Cramlington Community Tennis Programme, also known as the 'CCTP'.

After a fantastic 2011 both competitively and our programme receiving recognition by the LTA, we are getting 2012 off with a bang with the fantastic news that The Banks Community Fund have awarded us £11,000 towards the costs of resurfacing the courts at Alexandra Park!   Work is busy going on behind the scenes to secure the remainder of the funds required to make OUR courts at Alexandra Park stand out from the rest.

The photo above is our Head Coach Phil Barron receiving our Beacon Status plaque from the Tennis Foundation which is in recognition of our offering to the local community a sustainable, fun and affordable tennis experience. We are on the eparktennis.com website, which is well worth a visit.

Whether a parent or a player, the CCTP website should provide the answers to any questions you may have with regards to playing tennis in Cramlington, but if you need to speak to someone, don't hesitate to contact the Head Coach, Phil Barron.

Current News

New  The CCTP has finally been given a lease for Alexandra Park Tennis Courts so we are now responsible for all activities/footfall on the courts.  Please look after these courts as if they were in your own back garden – if you see anyone causing wilful damage, don't hesitate to ring the police; if incorrect footwear is noticed, please say something to the individual immediately or if anything untoward is brought onto the courts (roller blades, bikes etc), please ask the owner to place it OUTSIDE of the fencing.  We are hoping to resurface the courts this year and MUST set high standards of health and safety in preparation of our new look courts!

New The hard work by the dedicated coaches and management committee means that we have been awarded the Lawn Tennis Association's coveted Tennis Clubmark Award for the third successive year.  The constant excellent standards of competition and the continual improvement of coaching expertise have led to the CCTP landing the recognition.  Many congratulations to all involved.

New If you haven't already done so, PLEASE read the email sent to you with regards the coaching sessions which start week commencing 9th January 2012.  Make sure you read both pages as there are a number of benefits appearing on the second page.
