Current News
New If you haven't already done so, PLEASE read the email sent to you with regards the coaching sessions which start week commencing 16th APRIL 2012. Make sure you read both pages as there are a number of benefits appearing on the second page.
New Well done to our CCTP winter league team of John Boden, Joe Race, Daniel Grey, Dominic Thompson, Bethany Williamson, Jessica Laws who won the winter doubles league 2011-2012. Playing against teams from all over the northeast on most chilly Sunday mornings, our young team playerd some brilliant tennis over the winter, beating Saltburn in the final.
New The CCTP has finally been given a lease for Alexandra Park Tennis Courts so we are now responsible for all activities/footfall on the courts. Please look after these courts as if they were in your own back garden – if you see anyone causing wilful damage, don't hesitate to ring the police; if incorrect footwear is noticed, please say something to the individual immediately or if anything untoward is brought onto the courts (roller blades, bikes etc), please ask the owner to place it OUTSIDE of the fencing. We are hoping to resurface the courts this year and MUST set high standards of health and safety in preparation of our new look courts!
New The hard work by the dedicated coaches and management committee means that we have been awarded the Lawn Tennis Association's coveted Tennis Clubmark Award for the third successive year. The constant excellent standards of competition and the continual improvement of coaching expertise have led to the CCTP landing the recognition. Many congratulations to all involved.
